Yoga healed me, from my fingers, down to my soul. I teach because of the burning desire to share the passion I have for this transformational practice. I teach a balance of Yin and Yang styles. I always share from the heart and believe that yoga can positively transform the lives of anyone that's willing.

Teaching Style

  • Adjustments/Assists: I love to assist my students in finding their alignment and to help deepen grounding and relaxation.

  • Theming: I theme and subtly layer all my classes with a chakra, yama and niyama in mind.

  • Sequencing: I follow a peak flow or balanced flow format. I like to incorporate lots of prep for peak poses through traditional and modern techniques.

  • Music: A little bit of everything!

As a yoga teacher, what inspires and motivates your teaching?

I want to see my students understand what my intentions are. I get inspired when I see them have breakthroughs and transform on the mat because I know the effects it will have off the mat.

How has your own yoga practice evolved since becoming a teacher?

Practice and all is coming! I have found the most powerful thing I can do as a teacher is to be embodied in my practice and to teach from that direct experience.

Elena Brower, Dice Ida-Klein, Dylan Werner, Patrick Beach, Duncan Peak, Eoin Finn, Rod Stryker.

For those of us that haven't practiced with you before, what can we expect from your classes?

Expect a playful, uplifting, challenging, unique lightness and calming energy in my classes.

What type of class could you teach all day, everyday and why?

2 hour complete flow. Lots of time to do all the things!

Do you practice any other form of movement or fitness besides yoga? If so, what kind?

I surf, I am a BJJ black belt, animal/flow, general movement and gymnastics rings

What's your go-to spot in Melbourne to get inspired?

Asana Addicts! A free monthly meet up for all Melbourne teachers 2-4pm @ Power Living the 1st Wednesday of the month + Warrior One Yoga Mordialloc the last Wednesday of the month.

Which 3 icons or figures would you want to sit next to at a dinner party and why?

Bob Marley, Yogananda and Tony Robbins. Bob for the good vibes, Yogananda for enlightened knowledge and Tony to translate it all into easily relatable lessons!
