Yoga has been at the centre of my life for many years now. An interest in Eastern philosophy and mysticism took me to India 25 years ago and on my return, as a disillusioned uni student, a friend took me along to a yoga class. Yoga has been my everything from then, a light that shines through my life, a pathway toward awakening.

It's from the heart that I teach, a weaving together of body and breath, a connection to energy, a centring and a remembering of who we are and how we are. My classes are nurturing and challenging. They include philosophy, creative sequencing, sweat and laughter.

Teaching Style

  • Adjustments/Assists:
    Yes, where appropriate, I love to offer adjustments.

  • Theming:
    Integrating the physical practice with depth and spirituality is what I love to teach. My classes always have a theme which is normally something that has inspired me or resonated that I like to share.

  • Sequencing:
    My classes are a strong vinyasa flow filled with purposeful sequencing, philosophy and connection.

  • Music: An essential past of the class!

So many! Locally, Nicky Grimsdale, Lisa Ball, Sarah Metzger, Rach Mellican, Nickie Hanley. Internationally, too many to mention!

Walking, swimming and kayaking

What's your go-to spot in Melbourne to get inspired?

The beach

And lastly because it's fun, what's your spirit animal?

I did a quiz and it said snake because I am "powerfully connected to life force and primal energy." My kids say panda because I am chubby and zen.
