I found yoga about 5 years ago and quickly fell in love with the practice. Inspired by both the physical and mental impacts of yoga on my own life and wanting to share this with others, I signed up to complete my teacher training.

I love to guide my students through a playful mix of creative, fluid sequencing and strong poses, seeing each class as an opportunity to move and feel connected.

Teaching & Certification

  • 200 Hour Vinyasa training with Yoga213
  • 25 Hour Yin training with Warrior One
  • Creative Sequencing training with Here Yoga

Teaching Style

  • Adjustments/Assists: Gentle assists to help poses feel deeper and juicer.

  • Theming: I like to create a class around a specific theme so that each pose and transition has purpose and each layer of the sequence from breath work to asana builds towards the same intention.

  • Sequencing: I usually build sequences around a specific theme and work up to a peak pose.

  • Music: Mostly chill electro/ambient tunes and a bit of acoustic/folk.

As a yoga teacher, what inspires and motivates your teaching?

Feeling the complete shift in energy and mood that happens from the start to end of a class. There is also something pretty special about a group of people all moving and breathing together. I am constantly inspired by my teachers, my students, music and nature.

How has your own yoga practice evolved since becoming a teacher?

My own practice has changed in lots of ways, mostly it has moved from a more physically focused practice to a space to just move and breathe without any expectations.

I am constantly inspired by my teachers, my students, music and nature.

For those of us that haven't practiced with you before, what can we expect from your classes?

Expect a fluid, creative class with lots of space and freedom to be yourself, plenty of options to try something new, good tunes and good vibes.

What type of class could you teach all day, everyday and why?

A flowing vinyasa class with just enough challenge to leave students feeling strong and grounded. There's nothing better then a room full of calm, centred, blissed out yogis!

Do you practice any other form of movement or fitness besides yoga? If so, what kind?

I like swimming, pilates and barre.

What's your go-to spot in Melbourne to get inspired?

Darebin Parklands or anywhere near the water.

Finish this sentence. "I feel the most like myself when..."

I am surrounded by friends and family.

And lastly because it's fun, what's your spirit animal?

Sea turtle!
