Gather is a haven for self-care, storytelling and community. We offer Women's Yoga and Prenatal Yoga, adapting these classes for pregnancy, fertility, postpartum, your cycle and everything in between.
We also offer workshops, meditation, storytelling circles, moon ceremonies, sound bath, breastfeeding circles, doulas and one-on-ones with a herbalist, women's health physio, sexologist and massage therapist.
Yoga was always part of my vision for the space. I gave birth to my first daughter in New York in 2014 and did prenatal yoga twice a week until she was born at 39 weeks. The class was a beautiful mix of connection, storytelling, community, movement, relaxation and birth prep. I couldn't find anything like it when I returned to Melbourne so I found a yoga teacher who was aligned with my vision and created the classes for Gather.
I felt there was a real need to create a space for women to come together and connect free of judgement. I wanted to create a space that was all about self-care and nourishment and a space where women would feel held and supported no matter what journey they were on.
"Yes I'm afraid but I'm going to do it anyway." - Cleo Wade
I want the women who step into Gather to feel at home - comfortable, safe, nurtured, warm and supported.
I created Gather to be a space where women would feel held and supported no matter what journey they were on.
It's all very chill. We're all about relaxation and restoration.
Little Man Cafe for coffee, Simple Form and Sedonia for beautiful homewares, The Sun Theatre for a movie and Lay Low Bar for a cocktail.
Kimberly Johnson of Magamama for the incredible work she is doing in the space of womanhood, motherhood, sex and postpartum life.
We are just starting out but I am most proud of the overwhelmingly positive feedback I have been given by women who have been in the space, saying how intimate and beautiful it is. I am also proud of the amount of people who have reached out to me to say how important a space like Gather is and to thank me for creating it.
