At Body Flow Yoga we believe it’s not how fast we arrive, but how aware we become along the way. We breathe this philosophy into our classes with passion and purpose.
By taking the time to provide detailed instruction and practicing mindful movement our students are simultaneously challenged and nurtured – physically, emotionally and spiritually..
Yoga started for me as a child when my Mum started teaching it to us. I fell in love with the playfulness and how yoga made me feel. I'm not sure what came first, but I was always curious about the meaning of life and how to live well and yoga was the key.
Opening a studio was always a dream for me. After many years of teaching all over the place and a particularly difficult couple of years personally, I found a studio space that felt like 'the one' and amazing support came together for it to happen.
Body Flow's yoga style supports the idea that it's not how fast we get there, but what we learn along the way that matters. My personal favourite saying is...
In the end, only 3 things matter: how well did we live, how well did we love and how well did we learn to let go.
I want people to feel welcome, cared for, inspired and free.
We use chilled music with minimal vocals for inward focus and calm. Our gorgeous teachers have the freedom to use their own playlists too!
Journeyman, Mister Mister, Amok, Chachos, Mr Miyagi, Tokyo Tina, Fonda.... there's a huge amount of great cafes, bars and restaurants near the body flow studio.
Great question! I would collaborate with the collective consciousness to dispel ignorance that leads to hatred, fear and violence in all forms.
I am proud of all transformation that has happens. All the tension that transforms to calm, all the angst that transforms to freedom and all the fear that transforms to love. I love the body flow yoga community and all the care, kindness and celebration that goes on.
