Interested in starting a yoga practice but not sure where to begin? Held over 4 consecutive weeks, teacher Zara Wilkens will guide you through the foundations of a holistic and well-rounded yoga practice.
Led by Zara Wilkens.
With the intention to build on the practice each week, students will notice increased body awareness, flexibility and strength as new poses are discovered in their body. If you are completely new to yoga or want to refine your practice this course offers something for you.
Forever on a quest for her true calling, Zara discovered yoga 5 years ago as a refuge from stress. Touched by the self discovery yoga offered her she decided to complete her 350hr teacher training with Australian Yoga Academy in 2018 & additional Sequencing & Theming training with Kindred Movement in 2019. Expect a carefully curated playlist paired with dynamic flows and peak poses, forever smiling, Zara creates a space for her students to try, fall and try again.
Compassionately welcoming everyone to the mat, Zara encourages her students to leave expectations at the door and join for her an exploration of self awareness and self acceptance. She believes yoga is a way of life and invites her students to take the practice off the mat and into their lives. Her accessible quirky flows, relatable themes, authenticity and vibrant smile keeps her students returning to the mat.
